School Fees 2012-2013

 

French schools abroad are run on the funds of the French state and students’ fees.
The final decision regarding the fees is taken by the Director of the Agency of French Education abroad (AEFE) after going through the proposal of the head of the institution and the board of governors.
The fees are indicated in italics, in euros. Please note that they can vary according to the exchange rate fixed by the Ministry of Economics and Finance which is revised every 15 days. The exchange rate in effect here is that of : 1 INR =  0,0154 €.

 

1. Admission fees: When a student is admitted for the first time to  the Lycée Français of Pondicherry , or  readmitted after having been struck off the student’s list  for whatever reason,  he/she has to pay an admission fee at the time of registration. This is  non-refundable.

2. School fees :   The school fee is the participation of  parents towards the running of the school. The parents have to pay the fees as soon as they receive the notice to do so, in the beginning of  the following months : July, October and January. Each trimester which the student joins, must be paid for.

5 Meal coupons: Students wishing to have their lunch in the school canteen have to buy a coupon of 84,00 INR
