Saint Patrick's Day
Saint Patrick's is the Irish national holiday. It happens on 17th March.
Saint Patrick's Festival is the most important celebration (in Ireland) and it's national holiday(Saint Patrick's Day). It takes place in Ireland but also around the globe. It's lasts five days and five nights (from 13th to 17th March) and the March 17th. For this five days(and nights) Irish will listen and play traditionnal music and dance in the streets. They will dress up in green, drink delicious beer (like Guiness) and eat a lot of cakes : Irish dish and other sweets( Saint Patrick's Day cookies or cheesecakes). For five day one million peoples will celebrate Ireland.
For Saint Patrick's Day we (the students of 4eme S.E) put posters on walls of St Exupéry. On the March 16th we sang, on the steps of the CDI, an Irish traditionnal music : « Molly Malone » . We made real leprechaun's hats and we cooked green cakes but the others students ate all. About some of us made posters on Ireland which are exposed in the CDI like Irish landscapes,food or Ireland .
